MATCHING METHODOLOGY

How PoloSolo turns five answers into a useful first enquiry

Last reviewed 18 August 2026.

The five inputs

The matcher prioritises travel area, riding experience, the reason for going, budget comfort and preferred timing. It uses those answers to suggest a starting format and to rank relevant public-source options. A match is guidance, not a guaranteed booking.

Budget and riding requirements

When an official source publishes a starting price above your selected budget, that option is excluded from the result. Options without a published price may remain so PoloSolo can request a current quote. If you select no riding experience, options that explicitly require riding experience are excluded.

Published facts and provider checks

Named options are based on the provider’s own public pages and show the date the information was checked. They are not described as partners unless a commercial relationship has been agreed. Before you decide, the provider must confirm eligibility, available dates, total price, duration, pony and equipment, and its own booking terms.

How PoloSolo may earn

PoloSolo is free for the visitor during the current pilot. We may later receive a lead fee or booking commission from a provider. Any commercial relationship will not change how public facts are labelled, and any fee charged to the visitor will be shown before payment.

Safety and responsibility

PoloSolo does not provide the lesson, horse, safety equipment or instruction. The provider is responsible for assessing suitability and supplying its safety, cancellation and booking terms. Tell the provider about relevant health, access or riding considerations before attending.
