Start with fit, not a listing

A Surrey polo experience may look convenient on a map but still differ substantially in riding requirements, session format and last-mile travel. Begin with who is going, how much riding each person has done and what the day is meant to achieve.

Important distinction

“First time playing polo” and “first time on a horse” are different requirements. State both clearly.

Make the travel plan realistic

Compare the whole journey from your starting point. Ask about parking or the practical onward journey from public transport, and check whether an early start changes what is workable for your group.

  • Give your departure town or postcode.
  • Say whether you can drive.
  • Include a maximum journey time if it matters.

Ask for a complete quote

A useful quote should identify the session format, participant count, coaching or visit duration, what equipment is supplied, and any date or rescheduling conditions. Compare the total package rather than a single headline number.

Until a provider confirms those details, PoloSolo presents formats as guidance rather than live inventory.

Group, private or experience day?

Groups can suit friends or a lower-pressure introduction. Private sessions may better suit a specific learning goal. Experience-day formats can be attractive for gifts, but the recipient’s riding eligibility and voucher terms still need checking.

The PoloSolo matcher uses your main goal and riding level to suggest where to begin.
