PoloSolo Editorial Desk

A source-led research team that turns official transport, advisory and tourism information into decisions for first-time solo travelers.

What this byline does — and does not — mean

It means a human checked the cited sources and the published claim set. It does not mean a named PoloSolo contributor personally visited the destination unless the page says so.

How a page reaches “manually reviewed”

  1. Critical claims are tied to official or clearly identified sources.
  2. A human opens those sources, records the checked date and tests the page against the source text.
  3. Unsupported details are withheld, qualified or returned to research in progress.
  4. Transport, price and advisory claims are scheduled for another review.

Current Lisbon disclosure

The Lisbon decision brief is a desk-researched guide built from manually checked official sources. It has no named first-hand Lisbon contributor yet, so PoloSolo does not present local anecdotes or a personal visit as evidence. That limitation is intentional and will remain visible until a contributor can be named and scoped.

Corrections and contributions
