The useful starting point
Describe the changes you need before choosing a buying label. Wholesale, custom-logo and private-label terms do not establish stock, minimum quantities or available customisation on their own.
Compare three equestrian buying routes
Branded wholesale begins with a product range and asks whether its current specification, branding and order terms suit your business. Club branding usually starts with a selected product and adds a shared identity. Private label can involve the product specification as well as the mark, labels and presentation. The actual scope still needs to be agreed for each style.
These are brief categories, not automatic entitlements. Wholesale does not necessarily mean ready stock or mixed-size packs. A custom logo does not necessarily include a changed fit, exclusive colour or individual rider names. Private label does not establish ownership of a design or exclusivity; raise any such requirement explicitly before development.

| Route | Main decision | Bring to the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Branded wholesale | Does the available range fit your retail offer? | Reference, current options, quantities and delivery country |
| Club or custom logo | Can the chosen product carry your shared identity? | Reference, crest, placement, colours and member size list |
| Private label | Which product and presentation details need your own specification? | Target rider, required changes, artwork, labels and packaging brief |
Choose the brief that fits your business
For a tack shop, start with the products and customers you already serve. Ask about current references and specify whether you want PoloSolo branding, a plain option or your own mark. Compare bag formats or adult and junior fit requirements before spreading the first order across many variations. Use sales or customer evidence for the assortment rather than assuming a standard size ratio.
For a riding club or school, identify the person coordinating the order. Keep shared artwork separate from each rider's size or individual name. Decide who will review samples and consolidate feedback. A total member count alone is not a size breakdown or a confirmed order quantity.
For an own-label brand, divide the brief into essential requirements and options you can discuss. For example, your label and logo may be essential while the underlying bag layout can begin with an existing reference. Alternatively, a changed garment fit may require a separate development discussion. State the distinction so the first proposal answers the right question.
Ask what each wholesale or private-label quote includes
Compare the same reference, specification, quantity and unit. Ask whether decoration, labels, packaging, artwork preparation, samples and delivery are included or separate. A plain bag price and a branded, packed and delivered bag price answer different questions. Keep undecided costs visible until they are confirmed.
PoloSolo orders proceed through a manual quotation and written specification confirmation, followed by the agreed offline payment arrangement. Sending an enquiry is a request to discuss the order. Before committing, confirm the applicable minimums, sample scope, quote validity, payment stages and timing. The quotation-comparison guide provides a detailed worksheet for this step.
